The method of Umrah.

So now you have to do the Umrah.

The method to perform umrah is as under:

If you have intended to perform Hajj-e-Tamatta. Now you should perform umrah.

The stages of umrah are mentioned below.

The wrapping of Ihram from Meeqat is             compulsory.

Tawaf-e-Kaba _________                            Member.

Saee is the running on safa and Marva ___an obligation.

Halaq or Kasar _____                                     an obligation.

Stop reciting Talbia on reaching the black strip just opposite the Hajre-e-Aswad. And Make intention to do Tawaf to circle around kaba. “O, Allah, I plan / intend to do Tawaf of your sacred house. Make it easy for us. And be pleased with these seven circles which I do merely for your happiness.

Raise hands as we do in Takbeer-e-Tahreema. Recite Bismillah and Allah-O-Akbar and after kissing_Hijr-e-Aswad, start Tawaf.

Hijr-e-Aswad is scented, so do not kiss it when you wrap Ihram for the first time. Instead do Istalam

Remember kissing Hijr-e-Aswad is Sunnah only at that time, when no one is hurt by your act

Now start Tawaf from Hijr-e-Aswad. While doing “Ramal” male pilgrims are required to walk briskly with their chests thrust forward and with their shoulders rolling slightly during the first three circuits of Tawaf, with prayers on your lips, walk to Hateem.

And by moving out of Hateem, reach on “Rukan-e-yamani” with the prayers, mentioned below, and your lips reach in front of Hijr-e-Aswad. Here you complete your one circle.

ربنا اتنا فی الدنیا حسنۃ و فی الاخرۃ ھسنۃ وقنا عذاب النار

Translation: “O, Allah, grant us peace and prosperity both in this world and the world hereafter and save us from the fire of Hell.

in Ihram, first three circles are completed by doing “Ramal” while the last four are completed on normal pace (Speed).

Women should neither do “Iztaba” nor Ramal.

Hence, complete your seven circles accordingly.And your Tawaf is completed.

After Tawaf, go to “the place of Ibrahim” and offer two Rakat Nawafil.

Here, recite the verse mentioned below. In case of crowd if it is not possible to go near the place of Ibrahim, then these Nawafil can be offered anywhere in Harm sharif.

The Prayer.

واتخذو من مقام ابراھیم مصلی

After these two Rakat Nawafil of Tawaf, now come to Mulatizm. That portion of the wall of bait-ullah which is between its gate and Hajr-e-Aswad is called Mulatizm.

It is the special place for the acceptance of prayer.

 Now, after praying at Mulatizm, move to the basement to drink Zam Zam. And drink this sacred water to your fill and recite this payer.

اللھم انی اسلک علما نافعا ورزقا واسعا و شفاء من کل داء

Now, move to safa and Marva for “Saee”. But first come to Hajr-e-Aswad and do Istalam, as you did first during Tawaf. It will be your ninth Istalam  Now, move to the Hill of Safa.

Then intend to do Saee while looking at Bait-ullah .This is how it should be done:

“O, Allah, I attend to move seven times in between Safa and Marva (Saee) for your happiness. Make it easy for me and be pleased with it”

Now say Takbeer and move to Marva. Now, praise Allah and recite this prayer.

“Abae a” the prayer.

At some distance from safa, you will see two pillars of green colors. Between these two pillars (Melen & Akhzeen) men should run at a moderate pace and then at normal pace reach Marva. Here your first circle is completed.

Pray at Marfa after Saee.

 Now, either get your head shaved or cut it short. Halam (getting the head shaved) is more appreciated.

It is unlawful for women to get their head shaved. They should get their whole hair as much as almost an inch.

After this whole process (getting your hair shaved or cut after Sai) your Umrah ends.

If you intend to perform Hajj-e-Tamattu, then you are free from all the restrictions of Ihram. Now, taking a bath, wearing sewn clothes and apply scent, all is lawful to you.
