Departure on the Hajj Journey

According to the intimation slip of the ministry of Hajj, visit the Hajji camp and receive your passport, ticket, foreign currency and identity locket. (Only for Pakistanis).

Get your head shaved almost two days before.Get your nails cut.Moustache trimmed.

And clean unnecessary hair.

Women should take off the bangles. They should also remove nail polish.

Imagine before departure that you are heading for an eternal journey.Check your luggage and necessary papers.

Take a bath, put on the clothes of journey. Offer two to four Nawafil.And pray to Allah to make this journey safe and sound.

Reach the Hajji Camp eight hours before the departure of your flight.

Demonstrate patience and forbearance in the Hajji Camp.

Service to mankind is worship. Don’t miss any opportunity of any such service during this sacred journey. This worship may prove to be a source of the acceptance of your Hajj.

Before putting on Ihram, decide which pilgrimage you will perform. Hajj Qiraan or Hajj Tamattu. Since Hajj Tamattu is the easiest for the Pakistanis, so it is always recommended.

For this pilgrimage, Ihram is put on from Meeqat.It is put off on reaching Mecca after performing the Umrah.It is put on again on the 8^th of Zulhaj.

In the Hajj Qiraan, the Ihram of Umrah is put on from Meeqat. A pilgrim is bound to be in Ihram unless the pilgrimage is performed. The oath to perform Umrah and pilgrimage together is taken simultaneously.

Whereas in the Hajj Ifraad, the oath is taken only to perform Hajj or pilgrimage.

With the intention (Neyat) to perform Umrah, take a bath.And perform ablutions at home.

Refresh your ablutions at the Hajji Camp.

Take a sheet of unsewn cloth.Wrap it up from the belly button to calf.The coverage of the belly button is extremely essential.

Cover body and head with the other sheet.

Offer two rakat prayers with the Ihram. Recite Surrah-e-Kafroon in the first rakat.

And recite Surrah-e-Ikhlas in the second rakat.Then finish the prayer with Salam and uncover the head.

After taking resolution, pray to Allah for the acceptance of your Umrah with comfort

Man should take particular care of covering the belly-button every time. They wrap Ihram around the loin. Its fold must never be below the belly button in any case.

Women must cover the whole of their body. They must have complete sleeves.

Their clothes must hide their neck / throat.
